40. DEVIATIONS FROM EXPENDITURE STANDARDS WITH REGARD TO SUBSISTENCE AND TRAVEL ALLOWANCES


Noting:

past deviations from expenditure standards with regard to subsistence and travel allowances for MECs and accompanying personnel from the Ministerial Handbook and Provincial Subsistence and Allowance policy for public servants,

The Committee resolves:

for the Premier and all MECs to provide a report to the Committee by 31 May 2003 detailing:

1. their subsistence and travel allowances for the 2001/2002 financial year, itemising subsistence and travel separately, and providing details of hotel accommodation and associated costs;
2. same as (a) above for all personnel (security and administrative) accompanying the Premier or MEC - to be listed separately for each staff member.
