Department of Health (Vote 7) - Resolution 3/2004 - Suspense Accounts
Noting: Item 4.3 of the report of the Auditor-General; and
That the Department of Health has made a concerted effort to clear the balances of the various suspense accounts in compliance with Treasury Regulation 17.1.2;
The House resolves:
1. That the Accounting Officer of the Department of Health report to the Public Accounts Committee by 30 April 2005 on the continued progress made with clearing of suspense accounts.
2. That the Accounting Officer of the Provincial Treasury request the National Treasury to provide clarity in defining exactly which suspense accounts fall under the regulations.
