Department of Transport (Vote 12) – Resolution 37/2004 – Control Environment

Noting: Items 4.2.1 to 4.2.6 of the report of the Auditor-General, which identifies a number of significant control weaknesses within the department and;

Paragraphs 2 to 7 of the responses of the department contained in a letter dated 30 September 2004;

The House resolves:

That the Accounting Officer of the Department of Transport report to the Public Accounts Committee by 30 April 2005 on progress made with all of the control environment issues raised in the report of the Auditor-General.
