Department of Health (Vote 7) – Resolution 6/2004 - Financial management
Noting: Item 4.9 of the report of the Auditor-General and;
That the Department of Health has taken action to improve compliance with financial policies, procedures and controls by establishing a team to investigate and improve compliance with procedures in the various hospitals before the Auditor-General conducts the next audit;
The House resolves:
That the Accounting Officer of the Department of Health report to the Public Accounts Committee by
30 November 2004 on five critical areas of financial management that could be improved and progress made in improving those areas.
