Department of Housing (Vote 8) – Resolution 81/2004 – Provincial Housing Development Fund

Noting: Resolution 32/2003 of the Public Accounts Committee, which resolved that the amendment to the KwaZulu-Natal Housing Act, to effect the disestablishment of the Provincial Housing Fund, must be tabled in the Legislature by no later than 31 January 2004 and;

The response of the department that this matter was being dealt with by the National Department of Housing and National Treasury;

The House resolves:

That the Accounting Officer of the Department of Housing report to the Public Accounts Committee by 31 January 2005 on the latest position with regard to this matter.
