Department of Housing (Vote 8) – Resolution 91/2004 – ex-R293 Townships: Take over of stock by municipalities
Noting: That the Accounting Officer was experiencing problems with certain municipalities refusing to take over housing stock in ex-R293 townships;
The House resolves:
That the MEC for Housing be requested to address this matter with the relevant Municipal Managers in an attempt to resolve this matter and effect the take over of the housing stock in the ex-R293 townships by the relevant municipalities.
